I have over ten years of professional graphic design experience, working across branding, marketing, and web design for organizations ranging from local small businesses and nonprofits to international technology companies. I began teaching at the University of Lynchburg in the fall of 2024 as an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design, joining the Art Department after completing two years as a Teaching Assistant while I earned my Master of Fine Art in Graphic Design in 2024. I see design not just as a profession and art, but as a way to view the world. I’m constantly collecting interesting sources of design inspiration in the form of old books, vintage packaging, and any item that seems to tell a story at the thrift store. I tell people that I’m not a hoarder, but a collector, with the goal of one day having an estate sale that people line up around the block for. 

I fell instantly in love with printmaking a few years ago and it’s something I spend a lot of my free-time doing, as well as teaching! I have a focus on woodcut and linocut prints, and I love bringing in inspiration from the Nature, Folklore, and the Art Nouveau movement.
